Hello Everyone,
Thank you for stopping by. I just wanted to say happy new year, and let you all know whats going on with me. I am currently working on my second album. Also, Equality(Nasheet Waits band with Jason Moran, Tarus Mateen, and myself) is going back to Europe at the end of February '08. We, as of now will be in Italy, Spain, and Germany. I will be updating the Mp3's on this site within the next week. Stay Tuned..............

Hello Everyboby,
I wanted to let you know about a feature in the September issue of JazzMan Magazine(French magazine, similar to Downbeat) about 10 alto players, that are "shaking up the alto saxophone".
I was included in the list of ten alto players, along with the likes of Myron Walden, Miguel Zenon, Steve Lehman, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Loren Stillman,etc..
I am very humbled, and honored to be apart of this wonderful array of musicians. I hope you can check out the article at some point.

Hello all, I just got off the road from Italy with Nasheet Waits band "Equality"...... I had a great time going around Italy, and getting to see this beautiful country. Musically I have learned so much and been forever changed by the superior high level of genius by the musicans in this band-Nasheet Waits, Jason Moran, and Tarus Mateen. Be on the look out for much more from Nasheets band "EQUALITY"..........
